Iain Ballamy and Yuri Golubev (double bill)
Iain Ballamy is a major figure in contemporary European jazz, renowned for his distinctive saxophone voice, melodic imagination and adventurous approach. A member of Loose Tubes and Earthworks, he has collaborated with artists including Django Bates and June Tabor, while performing with leading orchestras and releasing acclaimed recordings on ECM.
Yuri Goloubev is one of Europe’s most accomplished jazz double bassists,celebrated for his virtuosic technique, rich sound and highly individual musicality. His jazz career has seen him collaborate with leading artists including Gwilym Simcock, Bob James, Tim Garland and Asaf Sirkis. His playing is underpinned by a distinguished classical pedigree as former Principal Bass of the Moscow Soloists.tions with Gwilym Simcock, Bob James and Tim Garland.

Kick off the festive season with me for a cosy relaxing Christmas wreath making workshop in Cheltenham on Saturday 28th November at 10:00am or Tuesday 8th December at 6pm.
Create your own natural, vintage-inspired wreath using beautiful seasonal foliage, natural textures and festive details, finished with your choice of velvet or satin ribbon.
With plenty of personal guidance from me throughout, you’ll be supported step by step to create a wreath you’ll love — perfect for beginners and for those who have some experience.
