Our Story

At The Merryfellow, we pride ourselves on our rich history and creating a lovely cosy atmosphere, where you can enjoy local beers and enjoy a hearty pub menu.

BRITISH PIE WEEK 


Monday 2nd March - Sunday 8th March.Keep your “pies“ peeled. We are entering our homemade pub BIG BOY PIES in to their second year at the very prestigious “British Pie Awards” held in Melton Mowbray.

We gained a third place podium last year for our ‘Sunday Roast BIG BOY PIE’ in the ‘Best PUB PIE’ category. 


Do pop in to try this week : Wednesday - Saturday.




BIG BOY PIES

BIG BOY PIES were born from the heart of a proper pub menu, courtesy of Liam Doherty fine tuning ingredients, combining his natural flair and love for a pie himself. With decades of experience, these pies are good, especially with lashings of what Liam and Mark call “proper” gravy. When you know you know!
